Job Description: Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
This is professional level work supporting the Missouri judiciary in specialized programming related to treatment courts and pretrial services. The primary work assignment includes engagement with local
courts and program management. The Court Services Management Analyst will engage with local court staff, judges and service providers regarding program standards, best practices, outcome measures and analysis and provide technical assistance as needed. The position works in the Court Programs section
of the Office of State Courts Administrator as part of the Adult Programs team under the supervision of the Adult Programs supervisor.

Provides technical and program assistance to judicial staff to improve the administration and operational aspects of local treatment courts and pretrial programs. Provides staff support to committees of judges, court staff and stakeholders as appointed by the Supreme Court; provides subject matter expertise related to court programs and makes recommendations to the committees regarding various court services and processes.
Leads and manages related projects and supports development of operational processes and policy as needed.
Collects and analyzes data related to court programming and performs various evaluation projects related to treatment courts and pretrial services in the judicial system.
Prepares training and informational materials and presents and disseminates as needed.
Maintains handbook and other resources for court personnel.
Prepares, distributes and informs local court personnel of pending or passed legislation that affects the courts.
Researches professional literature, and attends training to stay current on national trends, best practices, new methods, and procedures for the courts.
Assists the courts with case management system issues related to court programs.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:

Considerable knowledge of the operation of local and state court systems.
Relevant knowledge of technical work processes.
Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of modern court management.
Considerable knowledge of the general rules and regulations of the judicial system.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with judges, court personnel, coworkers, and staff from other agencies.
Ability to analyze problems and needs and make effective recommendations.
Ability to use automated operating systems, such as Windows, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Ability to travel to the courts to provide onsite technical and administrative assistance to court personnel.
Ability to perform accurate data entry.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management;
One year of professional experience in a related field.
Relevant work experience, training or education related to program development, management and evaluation is preferred. Specific knowledge and experience with treatment or problem-solving courts and/or pretrial services is highly beneficial for prospective candidates.
